For the past four years, Spokane Is Reading has brought Spokane area book-lovers into the worlds of four distinct stories and authors: Plainsong, Cold Mountain, Ender’s Game and Girl in Hyacinth Blue.

This year, Spokane Is Reading…The Beekeeper's Apprentice by award-winning author Laurie R. King!

Spokane County Library District, Spokane Public Library and Auntie's Bookstore have teamed up again to encourage readers of all ages to enjoy The Beekeeper's Apprentice, and to come see Laurie R. King for two FREE presentations October 19: 1pm at the North Spokane Library and 7pm at the downtown Masonic Temple.
