For the past five years, Spokane Is Reading has brought Spokane area book-lovers into the worlds of five distinct stories and authors: Plainsong, Cold Mountain, Ender’s Game, Girl in Hyacinth Blue and The Beekeeper's Apprentice.

This year, Spokane Is Reading is featuring local author and national award-winner Jess Walter! We are spotlighting his best-selling novel, Citizen Vince.

Please join us on Thursday, October 18 when Jess will give two free presentations.  Jess will talk about his books, tell stories about Spokane, answer questions and autograph copies of his books.  Books will be available for purchase at both events.
