Spokane Is Reading is honored to present two free presentations with Maria Semple. Ms. Semple will read from her book, share stories, answer questions, and be available for book signing. If you haven't heard her speak before, don't miss this opportunity!

Spokane Convention Center Auditorium - 1pm
Directions: Access the auditorium the Centennial Trail just east of the Lt. Col. Michael P. Anderson statue. If approaching from Spokane Falls Boulevard, walk through the underpass by the opera house and go east by the river to the entrance. Special $3 parking in convention center lot (tell the attendant you are there for Spokane is Reading to receive the discounted rate).

CenterPlace, - 7pm
Directions: Take the Evergreen exit from I-90, left on Evergreen, left on Indiana, right on Mirabeau Parkway, left on Mansfield, right onto Discovery Place. Lots of free parking.

An ASL interpretor will be present for the evening event.

No tickets are issued for either presentation and seating is first-come, first-served so come early for a good seat; doors will open 45 minutes prior to each event.

Both presentations will be followed by book signing, and Auntie’s Bookstore will be selling copies of Ms. Semple's books.

In addition to the author presentations there will be informal book discussions at some of the libraries.
